Return Policy

As an authorized dealer, we follow each brand’s official return policy. Since every brand has its own rules, check out the return summary and links for the details on each brand.

We don’t have a store you can drop by, so all returns zoom straight back to the vendor’s warehouse. Shipping costs and return rules? Those follow the vendor’s playbook.

NAKTO Return Policy (Summary)

Quality Issues

  • Contact Shopsy Dropsy customer service to start a return.

  • Customer arranges and pays for return shipping (no prepaid labels). Use a trackable service for security.

  • No restocking fee. Full refund once the e-bike is received and inspected.

  • Refunds by timeframe:

    • 0–14 days: Full refund

    • 15 days–2 months: 80% refund

    • 3–4 months: 70% refund

    • 5–6 months: 60% refund

    • Over 6 months: No returns accepted

  • Option: Instead of returning, you can use a local shop for repairs. NAKTO provides free parts and partial reimbursement (requires pre-approved repair quote).

Non-Quality Issues (change of mind, etc.)

  • Returns accepted within 14 days only.

  • Customer pays return shipping.

  • 20% restocking fee applies.

  • Returns after 14 days are not accepted for non-quality reasons.

  • You may return by shipping or by bringing the bike to NAKTO’s California warehouse.

X-Treme Scooters Return Policy (Summary)

Damage or Warranty Issues

  • All warranty claims and damage reports go through X-Treme’s support ticket system.

  • Damaged items must be reported within 10 days of delivery with photos of packaging, shipping label, and the box.

  • If approved, X-Treme provides replacement parts or warranty support.

Returns (non-warranty / change of mind)

  • Returns must be initiated within 15 days of purchase with RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) approval.

  • Refunds are for 100% of the purchase price, including original shipping costs, if the scooter is in brand-new, unused condition.

  • Customers pay return shipping (no COD or freight collect).

  • Item must be returned complete (manuals, accessories, packaging, etc.) and in resellable condition.

  • A 15% restocking fee may apply at X-Treme’s discretion, especially for unauthorized returns or new/unused units.

How to Return

  • Contact us first for a return authorization and instructions.

  • All returns must be shipped in the original packaging with all parts/accessories included.

  • Refunds are processed by the brand after inspection of the returned bike.

How It Works

  • Return shipping: Covered by the brand if the item is defective or damaged; otherwise, the customer covers return shipping.

Eligible Conditions

  • New & unused: E-bikes must be returned in the condition you received it, new & unused...free of wear, scratches, dirt or mileage, with all original parts and packaging. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

  • Batteries: For safety reasons, batteries must not be used or damaged. A few test miles are okay — but fully used/abused batteries cannot be returned.  Contact us to see how we can help you.

  • Accessories: Must also be returned in original packaging and new condition.

  • Refunds: Issued to the original payment method within 5 business days after inspection.

Return Methods

  • By mail: Most returns are handled via shipping. We’ll provide instructions once your return request is approved.

  • Return shipping costs:

    • If the return is due to our error (wrong item, damaged on arrival, defective), Shopsy Dropsy or the brand will cover the return shipping.

    • If it’s a change of mind or buyer’s remorse, the customer covers shipping costs.

Restocking Fee

  • A 15% restocking fee may apply to returned bikes to cover inspection, repackaging, and processing.

  • Accessories returned in brand new condition are not subject to a restocking fee.

Refunds

  • Refunds are issued to your original payment method.

  • Processing time: within 5 business days after we receive and inspect your return.

Exchanges

  • Need a different model or accessory? Contact us within the 30-day window, and we’ll be happy to help arrange an exchange.

How to Start a Return

  1. Email us at support@shopsydropsy.com with your order number and reason for return.

    • We’ll confirm eligibility and provide return instructions. DO NOT SEND THE e-BIKE BACK BEFORE RECEIVING OUR 'RETURN-CONFIRMATION' e-MAIL!  Returns will go back to the manufacturer but only after we send you approval!
  1. After receiving our confirmation e-mail, you'll pack your bike or accessory securely, using original packaging.

  2. Ship it back and wait for our email confirmation once the refund has been processed.

Note for e-bike returns: Because these are big, heavy, and battery-powered items, shipping costs can be significant. Please review your order carefully before purchase — and don’t hesitate to reach out with questions before you buy!

A few quick notes:

  • Shipping costs from the original order were covered by us and are non-refundable.
  • Refunds go back to your original payment method.

Damages and Issues With Your Product

When your e-bike arrives, please be sure to do a visual inspection of the outside of the box before signing anything and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right for you.

IF YOU NOTICE ANY DAMAGE, MAKE A NOTE OF IT ON THE DELIVERY SLIP — AND HAVE BOTH YOU AND THE DRIVER SIGN THE SLIP.  THIS HELPS US (AND THE BIKE BRAND) TAKE CARE OF ANY ISSUES QUICKLY AND SMOOTHLY.  DO NOT OPEN THE BOX IF IT'S DAMAGED, PLEASE TAKE PICTURES AND CONTACT US IMMEDIATELY AT: support@ShopsyDropsy.com

Exceptions / Non-returnable Items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Exchanges / Replacements

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds

We will notify you once your return was received and inspected, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
